What and for whom?

INNOKO’s goal is to support its clients’ efforts to build a motivated workforce characterized by vigor and wellness. Furthermore, it offers its expertise in behavioral and social sciences for the planning and execution of various development projects. Clients can be any work organizations, private or public, big or small, and from any industry.

We seek to add value by helping clients understand the basis of motivation, behavior, and well-being better so that organizational practices can be developed to strengthen well-being, improve the quality of managerial practices, and increase individual employees’ sense of control at work.

Our own expertise (work well-being, behavior and motivation, expert work and its challenges) consists of broad and current knowledge of organizational research combined with an ability to apply it in practice to work organizations’ development efforts. While the manner is matter-of-fact, the style is relaxed and down to earth. The goal is to focus on what is relevant for the client, at client’s terms.

In practice INNOKO offers training which consists of active lectures and workshops, and which can include one or several meetings. All training is tailored to client’s needs and can focus on the whole workforce, managers, top management, or some specific group of employees. An easy way to get started is to select a topic, for instance work well-being, and reserve a day (or half a day) to focus on learning about it and processing thoughts and challenges around it. If the organization consists primarily of independently operating experts, it may make sense to discuss means to manage one’s own work better so as to protect oneself from burning out or losing one’s motivation. This can also be approached from managerial perspective: how to best support self-directed employees? A theme day – or an introductory lecture – can be a good way to get participants’ thoughts into motion, and it may make sense to plan the next steps first after this initial session has taken place.

INNOKO also offers consultant services, when expertise in human behavior is needed in a development project or change process. In other words when there is a need to understand behavior and its drivers and predictors, and take these into account. Many times the success of a project depends on the human element.

INNOKO also conducts studies, analyzes the data, and presents the findings to relevant audiences. We can also undertake to analyze already collected data. Based on the analyses concrete actions can be proposed, or planned together with the client.

Do not hesitate to get in touch, if you need a knowledgeable but pragmatic partner to discuss the challenges of your work organization. Let’s meet and discuss what might benefit you best.
